Dulwich Piano Lessons welcomes the new series of ABRSM exams in the field of Creative Musicianship. At present, these exams are only available at Introducing and Beginner levels, however students seeking tuition for ABRSM Creative Musicianship are welcome to register their interest.

The Creative Musicianship qualifications are for students who produce their own musical works. These exams are available in the fields of composition, music production and songwriting. Unlike the familiar grading system of ABRSM Practical and Music Theory levels, these exams will eventually be made available at Introducing, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, however at present only the Introducing and Beginner levels have been launched. Intermediate and Advanced level ABRSM Creative Musicianship will be available in 2027.

Unlike ABRSM Music Theory, ABRSM Creative Musicianship is designed to give students the opportunity to apply their musical knowledge in a creative context. Students are required to complete a portfolio of work which is then submitted online for assessment by ABRSM assessors.
